Returns & Refunds
We are a small business selling pre-loved handbags and accessories — all items are sold as seen, and returns are only accepted through the process below.
This return process applies to UK orders only. International orders are final sale — see our Shipping policy for details.
Our tag Every bag ships with a Carry Trade Store tag attached. We only accept returns with the tag still on — so please leave it intact until you're sure you're keeping the bag.
How returns work Contact us within 2 days of delivery to request a return. Once approved, you have 14 days to send the bag back to us in its original condition. Once we've received and examined it, we'll issue your refund as store credit or back to your original payment method.
Items marked as final sale at checkout are not eligible for return.
Before you buy We want you to be 100% happy with your bag. We're always happy to answer questions or send extra photos or video of a piece beforehand — just get in touch and we'll help.
Listing accuracy We work hard to describe every bag accurately, with detailed photos and any flaws or wear clearly noted. With pre-loved pieces, there may be small signs of age that aren't individually called out.
By buying from us, you're agreeing to our Terms of Service, which includes acknowledging that our bags are pre-loved and will show signs of previous wear.
Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are unaffected.
Shipping
We ship internationally via DHL Express, tracked and signed for on every order.
UK: £10 flat rate — free on orders over £200. Expect 2–5 business days.
Rest of the World: £35 flat rate — free on orders over £800. Expect 2–7 business days . Import VAT or duties, if applicable, are collected by the courier on delivery and aren't included in your order total.
Any import duties or taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and must be paid upon delivery. We are not responsible for customs charges, which vary by country.
Any parcels returned due to non-payment of customs fees will be subject to an administrative charge of 100£. We will also deduct the cost of our website card processing fees, original shipping, and shipment insurance from your refund.
Every bag is insured in transit for its full declared value. If anything arrives damaged, or doesn't arrive, let us know by email within 48 hours and we'll sort it.
Privacy
Carry Trade Store is run by LHJ International Ltd. We collect what we need to fulfil your order — name, address, email, payment handled securely by our payment processor — and use it only for that, plus fraud prevention and, if you've opted in, occasional emails you can unsubscribe from anytime.
We don't sell your data. It's shared only with the providers who help us run the business: our courier, our payment processor, and Shopify.

Every bag is pre-owned, sold as seen, and authenticated as described above. All brand names mentioned are used solely to identify and describe the items we sell. Carry Trade Store has no affiliation with any of these brands. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Prices are in GBP and include UK VAT. We reserve the right to cancel an order (with a full refund) if something's mispriced or out of stock.
